What this job is about
We are currently looking for a Senior Hardware Electronic Engineer (f/m/d).
Your tasks
  • As Senior Hardware Electronic Engineer (f/m/d) you lead the development project of our next generation solar controller prototype and take over the lead for the development process
  • You coordinate the HW-development with the Firmware Team and other related stakeholders within your scope and provide guidance and support towards internal and external partners
  • You develop hardware concepts based on provided specifications with creation of layouts (Eagle) and schematics for digital and analog circuits
  • You verify hardware through simulation (Spice) and measurements and support actively transfer of a prototype solution into mass-production
  • Furthermore you optimize products in terms of costs, environmental impact and life span expectations for existing mass-produced products
Your Qualifications
  • You are an Electronic Engineer with appropriate qualifications and several years of professional experience in the field of renewable energy
  • You have good knowledge of Eagle, Spice, basic skills in Python and GIT and at least basic understanding in C programming,  
  • You are familiar with designing micro-controller-based electrical devices containing digital and analog periphery; experience in PWM control, DC-DC converter, MPPT control is a plus
  • You are used to documenting technical projects and ideally have experience in requirements engineering
  • Furthermore you are pragmatic, flexible and solution-oriented combined with a hands-on mentality
