What this job is about
We are currently looking for a Senior Hardware Electronic Engineer (f/m/d).
Your tasks
  • As Senior Hardware Electronic Engineer (f/m/d) you lead the development project of our next generation solar controller prototype and take over the lead for the development process
  • You coordinate the HW-development with the Firmware Team and other related stakeholders within your scope and provide guidance and support towards internal and external partners
  • You develop hardware concepts based on provided specifications
  • You create schematics and layouts (Eagle) for analog and digital circuits
  • You verify the hardware functionality through simulation (e.g. Spice) and measurements¬†
  • You actively support the transfer of a prototype solution into mass-production
  • You write technical documentations
  • Furthermore you optimize products in terms of costs, environmental impact and life span expectations for existing mass-produced products
Your Qualifications
  • You are an Electronic Engineer with appropriate senior qualifications or several years of professional experience (>5 years)
  • You have good knowledge of Eagle, Spice and at least basic understanding in C programming
  • Basic skills in Python and GIT are an advantage
  • You are familiar with designing micro-controller-based electrical devices containing digital and analog periphery. You also have a wide knowledge about electronics and electrical components.
  • Experience in PWM- and MPPT charge controllers, as well as DC-DC converters is a plus
  • You are used to document technical projects and ideally have experience in requirements engineering
  • Furthermore you are pragmatic, flexible, solution-oriented and show a hands-on mentality
